The ‘Confetti & Rose’ Syngonium Mix
$35.00
If you like a plant that tells you its life story every time the soil gets slightly dry, this is the one for you. These Syngoniums are constantly on the watch for the next time they need to speak to the manager: and they're dramatic about it, playing dead and calling ambulances and whatnot. They’re pretty, sure—lots of pink, lots of speckles, very "boutique"—but they are a lot of work for someone who just wants to look at a leaf in peace.
I’ve paired the 'Milk Confetti' with a pink-hued variety to give you a "mini-clump" that looks great on a shelf (BONUS: it puts the drama queens together, in their own pot, to talk shit about every other plant in the house). They’ve been house-hardened here in Flowery Branch, so they’re already used to Georgia humidity and my general lack of patience for their nonsense.
This duo is currently living in a 3.5” clear liner so you can actually see the roots and stay ahead of their next breakdown. They’re potted in my signature 'Not Dirt' substrate—I won't sell the mix to you because it’s a hot mess to make, but it’s the only thing keeping these two from moving back into my spare room.
I’ve vetted these beauties to ensure they’re healthy and happy-ish, but I can’t guarantee what they’ll do once they leave my greenhouse. If I could control nature (or Syngonium moods), I’d be a wizard, and I’d probably have a much cooler hat. 🧙♂️
