Monstera 'Lemon Lime' | It's a Shower

I know there are all sorts of people who have these now and they’re nearly as niche as they once were. That said, this is one COOL little plant. Each new leaf is easily twice the size of the last, so it’s definitely going to be a shower. It doesn’t grow as quickly as some of the Monsteras in the roster, but it’s still pushing out a new leaf every month to six weeks.

Roots are solidly visible in the 3.5” clear liner, and the trunk is starting to get more stable. I’ve got it propped against a thin plastic stake around the size of a long skewer. So far, I’ve not needed to attach it, but I wanted it to be there in case it starts getting top heavy.

Looking at this plant is like looking at a ray of sunshine. I put it on my desk right next to the spare monitor. I like it that much. TBH with you, that’s why it’s so expensive for the size. I’ll sell it if someone REALLY wants it, but I’m just as happy keeping it on my desk until it won’t fit there anymore. So yeah.

This plant is currently living in a 3.5" clear liner to accommodate its luscious root system. It’s potted in my signature 'Not Dirt' substrate—I won't sell the mix to you because it’s a hot mess to make, but the plants clearly love the drama of it.

I’ve vetted these beauties to ensure they’re healthy and happy, but I can’t guarantee what they’ll do once they leave my greenhouse. If I could control nature, I’d be a wizard, and I’d probably have a much cooler hat. 🧙‍♂️
